The Item of the Month for May is Open Donations. Spring Cleaning is upon us and it is a perfect time to go through your home and garage for any items you may not need....

We are now accepting the following items to prepare for our Easter Baskets in April 2017. Canned meals like Progresso, Chef Boyardee or any type of cans food that has a full meal in a can. (We are very low on these cans) Cooking oil, mayonnaise, Stove Top Stuffing, brown gravy, packaged spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly and canned beans, corn, green beans and tuna. Please drop off your donations in the designated bins located in Maher Hall. If you are aware of a family experiencing hardship, have them contact David & Maria Nuñez at 714-746-5137. The Item of the Month for February is Baby Clothing and Baby Items. If you have any clothing or baby items that are in good condition that you no longer need, we have many needy families that would be happy to have them. Even diapers would be a big help for these families. As always, if you have any other items you would like to donate; we will take them as well. The Item of the Month for January is Winter Coats, Jackets, Blankets and Bedding items. We have families in the community who would be happy to have them. Please make sure they are not torn and are in good condition. As always, if you have any other items you would like to donate; we will take them as well. The Angel Trees are coming! If you would like to be an angel this Christmas to our local children in need, please take a paper angel from the Angel Trees that will be located in the foyer starting Thanksgiving weekend.

My Fellow Parishioners, we are collecting for our Christmas Baskets. We want to “Thank You” for your Continued Support and Donations that helps us help those less fortunate than us.

The Item-of-the-Month for the remainder of August through September will be donations for the fire victims in San Bernardino. Please donate clothes that are freshly laundered, have light wear-n-tear, and in varied sizes, Men – Women - Children. Shoes (closed toes and heels); will ultimately be sorely needed. Linen items such as blankets, sheets and towels are also needed. NO hygiene items.

The Item-of-the-Month for August is Children’s Clothing and Shoes. Are you doing any summer cleaning of your children’s closet or dresser drawers this Summer Break? If so, and you find any good, usable clothing and shoes that are no longer needed, we have children in the community who would be happy to have them. Please make sure they are not torn and are in good condition.

My Fellow Parishioners, we are on our way on collecting for our Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets.

On Sunday, August 7th, we will host our Annual Backpack Drive to help the children in need in our own Chino Valley Unified School District. For the last few years, the donations have been decreasing. These children really need our help!
