For students who have received Baptism, Reconciliation and Eucharist and are in 5th grade in school.
Program Overview
Topics discussed and explored in this grade level include Scripture, Magisterium, the Church in our lives, God’s plan for each of us, Sacred Tradition, the Saints and the Liturgical year.

Program Requirements
Additional documents (such as birth, baptismal, and first communion certificates) may be requested at the time of registration to ensure your child will be enrolled in the right class.
Children consistently attentend a minimum number sessions throughout the catechetical year.
All students are required to attend a Circle of Grace® course conducted during regular class time.
Parents sign and agree to a Code of Conduct.
Required Parent Meetings
All parents should be attending Mass on a weekly basis. While no specific grade level meetings are required, parents are invited to attend adult faith sessions each year of enrollment. These sessions are designed to help parents see the faith through adult eyes and mentor their children.
St. Paul the Apostle...
...has ongoing faith formation for all grade levels for those who wish to continue their spiritual journey with Christ.
Once a child receives the Sacrament of Eucharist they may enroll in regular grade level formation the following fall.
6th Grade—focuses on the Bible. Children receive their own Bible.
Jr. High—has a thematic approach with discussion on Morality, The Trinity, Sacraments, God, Jesus and The Church.
Jr. High—Themes are God’s Love, Moral decision-making, Respect for all, ancestors in faith, etc.
9th Gr. Faith Formation— a fresh look at ways to explain, view and participate in Mass.
Confirmation 1—for those students in their Sophomore year (or above) in High School who have been baptized, received both Reconciliation and First Communion. Service hours and retreat(s) required.
Confirmation 2—for those students in their Junior year (or above) in High School who will be age 16 by confirmation day. Students will have had to successfully completed Con 1 requirements. Students are interviewed for readiness prior to being confirmed. Service hours and retreat(s) required.
